From a very young age, we have always been passionate about trying out new tricks and choreography and we were always encouraged to keep brainstorming new dance moves by our teachers at the Hession School, Galway. This definitely helped us grow as dancers and choreographers as we gained more and more experience testing out new moves and learning how to be creative with our dancing without ‘going over the top’. Towards the end of our competitive career, we started to choreograph our own steps along with our teachers which helped lead us to 5 World Championship Titles. Since then, we have choreographed for various dance schools and performing shows all over the world. We always try to push the boundaries of Irish Dancing with both our competition and performance choreography, while staying true to the Irish tradition and culture.
We look forward to the next choreographing challenge, so if you are interested in working with us, get in touch!
Hession School of Irish dance – After retiring from competition, the two of us have continued to be part of the choreographing team for competition steps at the Hession School. We also love choreographing for their annual showcase each year.
Trinity Irish Dance Academy – In 2016, we worked as part of the team at the Trinity Academy in Chicago to choreograph and perfect steps leading up to their Regional Oireachtas.
Pope Francis – In 2018, we were asked to co-choreograph a special piece and perform for Pope Francis and 90,000 people in Croke Park at The World Meeting of Families.
The Kilfenora Ceili Band – We have choreographed multiple pieces for this historic show since joining in 2015. Our pieces have been performed all over Ireland and broadcast to audiences worldwide.
Trinity Irish Dance Company (TIDC) – In 2016 and 2018, we were invited to Chicago to co-choreograph two pieces for TIDC which have been performed all over the United States and Japan.
Fusion Dance Fest – We have choreographed at the annual Fusion Dance Fest on 3 occasions. Each year, over 100 dance students of all ages from around the world attend the summer camp to learn a full scale show in just one week! It’s a challenge for the choreographers and the students alike.
National Dance Intervarsities – In 2019, we choreographed and performed the winning piece at the National Dance Intervarsities for The National University of Ireland, Galway.
Gardiner Brothers – From the ages of 10 and 11 years old, we have been choreographing our own dances that have been seen by millions of people worldwide in person and on social media.
